It's like a minor league baseball report...
Updates from the farm...
The Boysenberries are creeping along nicely. Our avocado tree is also health with leaves shooting upwards.
The blueberries are turning blue! And you can see that there are new green leaves on the bushes.
The bush beans and the snap peas are healthy. They're starting to climb up the twine and work themselves up the fence. Our lone chili has grown so long that it's curling on the ground. There's no new blossoms yet.
Karen's zucchini is growing. You can see that we have our first one in the beginning stages.
Tomatoes are growing tall and strong. The Romas are staying short, but their fruit is getting bigger than all the others.

Gracie and the Garden
Gracie and I started to take strolls through our garden every morning. We have seen the new growth everyday.
We have Karen's pattypan squash blooming along with the zucchini and cucumbers.
The bush beans that we planted from seed are growing well. The tomatoes plants all have fruit on them.
Our herb garden is very healthy, with the exception of our dill plant. We routinely use the cilantro and chives from it.
The grape vine is going crazy and should fruit toward the end of the summer.
The avocado that we planted his growing new leaves and is currently shorter than Gracie. We even have a very small mango tree that we planted near our grapefruit tree.
The blueberries are what I'm most looking forward to. We're very happy and surprised that they're growing. We have new stems forming at the base of the plant, new berries developing and new branches coming up from all three of our bushes. We had initially used our chocolate raspberry flavored coffee grounds to help create more acid in the soil. It's has helped greatly, but now our concern is that our blueberries might taste like chocolate covered raspberries :)
