Gracie started jumping from the side without any help. The first time, I think it was because the ground was so hot...
Gracie got more daring as the week long lesson's went on. Here she's touching the bottom of the pool and swimming back to the surface.
This is Gracie's first dive from the board. It took a while, but she did it...
For the #2 dive, I was running the camera and drowning at the same time...

A Summer night at the Hollywood Bowl has become more of a tradition for us. This time, we saw the L.A. Philharmonic performing the classical music scores to Bugs Bunny cartoons...We had a picnic in the park before the concert. Gracie was really excited to see and hear the band play "What's Opera Doc"

Resting under a tree at the Gamble House...
If you've never heard of the Gamble house, its a huge craftsman home in Pasadena, CA and was used in several movies, most notably "Back to the Future" starring Michael J. Fox. The house was used as the "Doc's" house and the garage as well where the Doc developed the flux capacitor. It was also used for the movie "Zathura"
