Our family trip to the ER...

Gracie took it well, after she tripped into the bedframe of our bed during a pre-bedtime game of hide-n-seek. There was a lot of blood, and some tears. Before Karen had time to faint, we rushed over to the ER at Foothill Presb. So quick in fact that Uncle Neil who was visiting at the time, came to the hospital without his shoes!
We knew she'd be OK when during our wait in the ER, we were watching "Dancing With The Stars", she told us she wanted to dance. She received 5 stitches

An evening with author Jan Brett

We spent our evening at Vromans book store in Pasadena to meet children's author Jan Brett (www.janbrett.com). She's written and illustrated many famous children's books. On this night, she autographed her latest book "The Three Snow Bears" for Gracie...

A day at the pumpkin patch at Cal Poly Pomona...

I once saw a movie with a little boy who sits in a pumpkin patch and waits for "The Great Pumpkin". This is boring...I'd rather go trick or treating...









A lot of thought is going into the selection process...









We took a break to pose for a picture...it's a good thing daddy's smiling cause otherwise it would look like a floating pumpkin...
