Camping in Sequoia National Park...

This is not a fake background.
We took this on the Big Tree Trail
The entrance to Sequoia National Park
Campsite 186 at Lodgepole
On the trail to Tokopah Falls
Even though it's low on water this year, Tokopah Falls
was worth the adventure to the falls
A cone from a Sequoia.
Every tree starts with the seeds from a cone like this
In front of the Sentinel Tree
What is in there?

Burn damage from a forest fire...
Saw my professor and good friend from APU,
Gary Lemaster at the General Sherman Tree.
I mistook him for a National Park Forest Ranger
Gary Lemaster and a real National Park Forest Ranger
I don't think these guys made it...
The General Sherman Tree.
The largest tree in the world by sheer wood volume.
Walking through the Congress Trail
A fallen Sequoia.
It shatters and takes down anything in it's path
